Favorite Children's Book

My favorite children's book is Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.  I love it because it teaches children about rhyming and is very fun to read!  I get very excited every year about Read Across America because we get to not only celebrate reading, but also celebrate one of my favorite children's book author's birthday!  If you are not familiar with Dr. Seuss's books, check them out.  Also, during Read Across America week, find your local elementary school and volunteer to read to a class.  They love it!

  1. Hi,
Thanks for sharing this book. Green Eggs and Ham has been around for generation to generation. This is a book that I loved as a child and one the children in my preschool are still enjoying. We actually do a green egg and ham breakfast to go along with the story the children love it !!

  2. Hi, Green Eggs and Ham is a really good book for children, they like the silly concept of the green eggs it somehow seems to always make them laugh especially after he rhymes about it. It is a really good book to get children in to reading and having fun with it.

  3. Hi Bianco,

This is a good book. It has valuable lessons in it. The little engine that could is my children's favorite short film which illustrates that they are able to accomplish anything if they keep to it.

    Sincerely,

    Vinston
